Contract Imports

Contract Imports are how your Stagenet learns about your smart contracts. They connect your source contracts to the contracts running on your Stagenet.

When you import contracts from a Hardhat or Foundry project, your Stagenet stores the information needed to recognise and understand them, such as their ABI and bytecode.

This lets your Stagenet:

• recognise contract deployments through bytecode matching
• decode contract transactions and events
• inspect and decode contract storage variables
• facilitate contract interactions

These abilities are used to enable Workspaces for your contracts.
